Doherty commits to Harwick until 2029

Ciaran Doherty has signed a new contract that keeps him at Harwick Park until the summer of 2029. The midfielder has three league goals this season.

Doherty wears the number 8 and plays like it: first to the ball when it’s loose, first to the edge of the box when it isn’t. Two of his three goals came in the 2-2 with Stanmoor Wanderers in August, the third in the 4-0 against Lowbridge.

“I didn’t need long to think about it,” Doherty said after signing. “This club gave me a shirt when I was 26 and not everyone wanted to. I’d like to be the one who’s still here when we win something.”
