300 kits for Harwick’s junior clubs
Twelve junior clubs across Harwick got new orange-and-black kits this week, 300 in all, paid for by the Harwick Athletic Foundation’s summer appeal.
Every club got shirts, shorts and socks for two age groups, plus a bag of match balls. First-team players dropped them off in person over two evenings, and stayed for training.
“Half of our squad played for clubs like these,” captain Rhodri Kerr said. “If a nine-year-old pulls on an orange shirt on Sunday morning and thinks about playing at Harwick Park one day, that’s the whole point.”
